Bro. David Brown exemplifies the Four Cardinal Principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift in every facet of his service to Omega. He served as Georgia State Representative from 1980-1982. His unwavering dedication to the Fraternity is reflected in his instrumental role in shaping the foundation upon which the Georgia State Organization stands today.

One of Bro. Brown’s most notable contributions was co-authoring the Georgia State Constitution and Bylaws, a milestone achievement that continues to guide and govern the operations of this Great State. During his tenure as State Representative, these bylaws were officially adopted, laying the groundwork for a new era of organizational structure and unity.

Bro. Brown’s visionary leadership extended far beyond the written word. He was responsible for appointing the first Regional Representatives, ensuring broader representation and stronger communication across the state. He also oversaw the adoption of the Fraternity’s first formal budget, demonstrating his commitment to responsible stewardship and financial accountability.

Under his leadership, Bro. Brown chartered two enduring chapters, Mu Beta Beta and Xi Beta Beta, expanding Omega’s reach and presence in Georgia. He implemented a regional rotation system for hosting the State Meeting, a lasting innovation that brought fairness and balance to the planning process.

Bro. Brown further cemented his legacy by holding the first State Talent Hunt, providing a platform for young performers to shine under Omega’s banner. He also led one of the earliest chapter investigations, assembling a collaborative team that included the 2nd Vice State Representative and the 2nd Vice District Representative, a model of leadership through teamwork and due diligence.

In a historic accomplishment, Bro. David Brown became the first former Georgia State Representative to be elected to a District office, serving as District Counselor with distinction.

Bro. Brown’s legacy is one of vision, commitment, and unwavering service. His contributions have left an indelible mark on the State of Georgia and the Sixth District, making him truly deserving of this Hall of Fame honor.
