Statement of Interest (1st Choice)

I've worked in the field of education for the past eighteen years. During that time I have mentored on the campus through sports and through various on campus activity to try and get young men to see the value they have in themselves and positive decision making. I am the father of a six year old boy that I try to daily set a positive example for. My son was born out of wedlock, as a result of that I know very well the issues men in the state of Georgia with trying to get custody and visitation and even having rights to their child in accordance with Georgia laws. Men need to be advocated for and taught how to properly advocate for themselves when it comes to custody, child support, legitimation, visitation, medical visits and a host of other things.

Statement of Interest (3rd Choice)

Undergraduates are the life blood of our fraternity. If we lose them and their active engagement in the fraternity we lose ideas, we lose workers, we lose revenue and friends. We have to keep them actively engaged in the inner workings of the fraternity and let them know their voices count. We also have to teach and show them the importance and the advantages of becoming and remaining active on a graduate level upon graduation. The undergraduate experience is one thing, but the graduate experience involves friendship and networking on a higher level.
